Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems is seeking a Principal Business Process Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Redondo Beach, CA. Specifically, this position will join the Business Systems Administration team on AMP.

The Principal Business Process Analyst will analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, marketing and human resources systems.

The incumbent for this role will represent the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments and coordinate with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Knowledge of e-commerce tools, computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow are essential to success.

This position requires the incumbent to possess a Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance and/or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI). The stated clearance level must have been updated within the last 6 years.

Responsibilities include:

An understanding of Micro-Frame Project Manager (MPM) and/or COst BReAkdown (COBRA), Earned Value Management (EVM), as well as broad knowledge of aerospace industry systems and procedures, including a working knowledge of PowerBi
Use of program business systems and coordinating monthly business processes to enable the delivery of successful products to the program and customer
Facilitating improvements in processes, software and influence architecture requirements to improve efficiencies
Process/procedure/compliance, and Ad Hoc program activities
Utilizing Business Systems, MPM and/or COBRA, SAP, and earned value and its implementation as it pertains to program business rhythms

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in Business Administration to include Program Cost Control and Planning or 3 years of stated experience with a Master's Degree
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS)
Expert user in Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM) and/or COst BReAkdown (COBRA), MS Office Tools
Active Top Secret (TS) and/or Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) Access

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree
Current or previous experience working with restricted customers

Salary Range: 92000 - 138000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
