Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Principal Material Analyst supporting the SSSD Subcontracts Management team. This position will be filled at a level 3 and will be located in Redondo Beach, CA. A flexible remote work schedule with be considered.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for gathering Process effectiveness and health Data/Metrics related to the Subcontracts Management process for purposes of analyzing trends and recommending appropriate actions to the Subcontracts leadership team.
Acts as lead focal point for IPL Greening Initiative, Process 4.3 - Subcontract management
Utilizes and compiles data from various systems/repositories (SAMS, SAP, BW, DW, GSC metrics dashboards, etc.) to meet internal/external reporting needs.
Creates and maintains various reporting & visibility documents and associated corrective action plans with respect to Subcontract management process effectiveness, health & compliance, including, but not limited to ad-hoc data requests.
Produces quarterly SAMS Trending and Top 20 Subcontract reports for internal visibility and external customer requirements, if needed.
Reports directly to the Director, Subcontracts Management for SSSD, taking on special ad-hoc assignments, as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 6 + years' of experience or 4 years' with a Master's for a level 3
Experience with Excel, Tableau, SAP & SharePoint
Must be extremely detail oriented
Must be able to manage multiple/competing priorities & projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Supply Chain experience
Project Management or Project Control/Finance experience
Current active DoD Secret or SSBI security clearance and or ability to obtain clearances
Salary Range: 83600 - 125400
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
