Job description
Poshmark is looking for an experienced Manager of Equity Programs to join the best legal team in Silicon Valley! This position will report to the Senior Corporate Counsel and lead Poshmark's stock administration, including global equity plans and platform management, as well as be our end-to-end expert for all things equity!
Responsibilities
- Administer the company's equity plans for all employees U.S. and globally
- Maintain company's equity data, including grants, exercises, and all other activities
- Management of our third party equity administration platform (Fidelity)
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as payroll, people, tax, and others, as well as third party vendors, brokers, and agents, to effectively administer Poshmark's equity programs
- Provide first line of support to all employees, management, and others with respect to equity
- Support employee education and understanding of equity programs and policies
- Develop and maintain best practices with respect to controls and applicable processes to ensure accurate and timely processing of equity award data as well as any required regulatory support
- Assist with trading plans as well as other relevant SEC documentation required for public company reporting
- Establishment of Poshmark's equity and stock administration programs, with development of functional relationships across applicable stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective execution of corporate matters and deliverables
- Continuous build and improvement of Poshmark's equity and stock programs, including corporate education, and continuous improvement of existing processes
- Strong academic credentials, bachelor's degree required
- CEP certification(s) preferred
- 5+ years direct experience in equity management and stock administration
- Expert understanding in the administration of global equity plans, including ESPP programs
- Deep understanding of equity management platforms, Carta and Fidelity preferred
- Recent in-house public company experience in similar role
- Experience with various SEC forms and filings
- Understanding of US federal and state taxation and general global taxation of equity transactions
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent business judgement and attention to detail
