Overview:

The Manager, Sales Training is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the training and development of the Coherus Sales force, to also include supporting the oversight of training and development for non-Sales customer-facing employees. This will include new hire and product launch training, as well as follow-on product and selling skills training. This role is responsible for supporting the design and delivery of training programs that help ensure consistent and accurate Marketing messaging across the customer-facing teams. The Manager, Sales Training must be adept at managing multiple ongoing projects and have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Hands-on experience with learning management system administration, ability to create SCORM-compliant eLearning, strong familiarity with the Articulate 360 offerings, and strong project management skills from start to finish are all capabilities critical to this role.

The qualified candidate will work alongside the Executive Director, Commercial Training to help ensure that training conceptualization and delivery is informed by cross-functional communication and goal alignment, that culminates in the successful driving of business revenue.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop, coordinate and maintain training programs for the Coherus Sales force, including development and execution of new hire Sales Training plans and onboarding training classes.
  • Manage the Coherus Rise learning management system (LMS); strong familiarity with Articulate 360 is key.
  • Develop and implement workshops/training classes for launch and POA meetings.
  • Leverage training expertise and best practices.
  • Work with the established training budget to deliver training.
  • Coordinate work and RFPs with outside vendors for training program development.

Background and Experience:

  • BA/BS required
  • 3+ years of field sales and Sales Training experience; participation in projects or developmental rotations as the lead on high visibility projects and programs is a plus
  • Previous home office or other Commercial roles a plus; e.g., Market Access, Marketing, Communications, etc.
  • Previous experience in-house in Sales Training or as a Regional Field Trainer
