Title: Staffing Coordinator

Duration: 6 Months Contract possibility of extension

Location: Remote

Job Description:

  • This person MUST have used Workday as an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and be comfortable navigating within it.
  • Will be moving candidates through submittal to onboarding, and all phases in between.
  • Workday is a brand new ATS system to VSP that just launched (11/15), and we need a resource that has experience with this system and can hit the ground running.
  • With minimum supervision, provide high level, confidential administrative support in the Human Resources department including but not limited to HR staff, VSP employees, recruitment, benefits, recordkeeping and system administration.
  • Essential Functions
  • Provide high level, confidential administrative support to the HR recruitment function including programs, projects, and other general HR support as needed.
  • Conduct research, analyze data and make recommendations as requested regarding vendors, programs and internal processes. Coordinate miscellaneous activities.
  • Prepare and manage online job postings to ensure that all jobs are represented accurately and posted in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and recommend improvements to the HR Web Page and vsp.com as it relates to job postings and recruitment.
  • Use online applicant tracking system for ad hoc requests.
  • Provide back up to front desk coverage including servicing internal business partners and external customers on the telephone and in person. Maintain staffing agency contracts.
  • Conduct reference checks and ensure relevant information is acquired from the applicants references.
  • Provide support for internal and external candidate relocations..
  • Job Specifications
  • Typically has the following skills or abilities:Two to four years of experience providing high level administrative service and/or has supported projects.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources general practices and principles.
  • Type 45-50 wpm..
  • Proficient with spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with HTML preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with some experience giving presentations.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multi-tasked workload.
