Job description

This position will lead the delivery of the following projects Financial Systems Replacement Program: Concur, Kuali Contracts & Grants. In addition, this resource will lead the delivery of the Kuali Compliance and Chancellors Office DB projects. Lastly, this individual will also support the Lead ITS PM with project coordination and business analyst for the FSR Program.

In the position of Project Manager, the resource will perform the following key duties:

- Work with business units and IT partners to reconfirm scope and understanding of project work activities and priorities.

- Formulate project work/resource plans.

- Development/control of project schedules and budget.

- Identification/management of key issues/risks.

- Provide weekly project status reporting to Lead ITS PM and AD-PMO.

- Provide agendas, facilitate meetings, and capture the essential information from meetings (key points of discussions, decisions made, and assigned action items).

- Create and manage SharePoint sites for the management of all project documentation.

- Coordinate/control project efforts through project implementation/delivery.

In the position of Project Coordination/Business Analyst, the resource will perform the following key duties:

- Document requirements utilizing standard business analysis practices.

- Create and manage SharePoint sites for the management of all project documentation.

- Work with team to create/maintain Visio diagrams of the current/future state IT systems architecture.

- Assist in analysis of current- and future-state integration redesign

- Assist in motoring integration testing scripts, test plans, outcomes, and remediation

- Create dataflow diagrams and work on integration matrix

- Create and organize IT documentation

- Collect meeting notes, decisions made, action items, and minutes

Minimum Requirements

- 4 to 7 years of related experience

- Broad knowledge relating to software system implementation

- Basic knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management processes

- Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following IT areas: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance & Support

- Understanding of business and process analysis functions.

- Demonstrated effective writing skills.

- Effective skill at tracking effort and project progress.

- Demonstrated advanced organization and project management skills.

- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

- Working hours will be based on Pacific Standard Time (PST) with core hours 8 to 5 pm.

- REMOTE: must willing to come onsite for at minimum 1 on-campus visit

Desired Skills

- Knowledge of business and/or academic operations within a higher education environment.

- Proficiency using MS Project, MS Excel, MS Visio, and similar tools.

- Knowledge of ServiceNow Project Management and Agile Modules

- Working knowledge of Office365. Specifically, SharePoint

- Knowledge of Oracle financial systems.

- Project Management Professional (PMP)
