Job description

Responsibilities

SUMMARY: Performs and develops financial processes for Accounting department and Corporate Finance. Prepares income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, cash flows and other accounting statements and reports and prepares monthly variance analysis as assigned. Analyzes financial reports and records, and verifies the accuracy of journal vouchers and accounting classifications assigned to various records. Works on the design and preparation budgets for management review and approval. Assists management with conducting special studies and developing recommended accounting methods and procedures. Assists with instruction of work assigned to Accounting personnel. Assist with the coordination of accounting matters with other departments and facilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Accounting required. Associates Degree (A.A.) in Accounting highly preferred with additional work experience equivalent to a four-year degree will be considered. In-depth experience with AP, AR, Month-end close, Bank Reconciliations, Budgeting, and Financial Statements. Strong skills with computers, MS Excel, US GAAP and ten-key required. Must have ability to communicate and work well with peers, as well as internal and external customers. Healthcare experience desired.
