Heritage Oaks Hospital is a freestanding, 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital dedicated to serving the greater Sacramento area. We provide treatment to teens, adults and seniors living with mental health challenges.

We are currently looking for someone to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care. You will implement standards of nursing practice, policies and procedures for all nursing services, nursing standards of patient care, and standards of nursing practice all while promoting professional growth among nursing staff. The ADON assists the Director of Nursing in establishing and implementing policies and procedures; and coordinating with Staff Development and Performance Improvement.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing; Master's Degree in psychiatric nursing or related field required.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years experience in nursing administration and/or dedicated leadership experience in psychiatric nursing.

Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state.

Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA regulations and all state and federal regulatory standards.
