The State Water Resources Control Board's Division of Water Rights has an opening for an Environmental Scientist in the Hearings Unit of the Bay Delta and Hearings Branch. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 14 Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Duties:

This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity with the Hearings Unit participating on multidisciplinary teams responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and overseeing water right and water quality hearings and adjudicatory proceedings before the State Water Resources Control Board; a wide range of projects and assignments related to planning for and management of periodic drought conditions throughout the state; and a variety of special projects and assignments designed to support high priority programs, initiatives, and efforts within the Division of Water Rights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,145.00 - $7,926.00 per month
