Kelly Science & Clinical is looking for a Laboratory Operations Manager in the Modesto, CA area. If you are interested in a permanent leadership opportunity within a laboratory environment read on and apply!

Base Salary - $85,000

Responsibilities:

• Support the corporate quality and continuous improvement processes
• Communicate with client services, vendor representatives, other management personnel and occasionally with clients
• Communicate client requirements to department personnel, as needed
• Work directly with internal and external auditors
• Maintain knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Develop and maintain expertise in food science and related technologies
• Review data ensuring compliance with proper methods before results are released to clients
• Review and evaluate corrective actions and ensure documentation and follow-up is completed

This might be a great fit if you have:

• B.S. or M.S. in Microbiology or Chemistry and 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of food science and the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Proficiency in Standard Operating Procedures
• Good supervisory and communication skills
• Budgeting and planning skills
