Responsibilities:
The Groundsperson under general guidelines and supervision by the Director of Engineering provides leadership and assists the grounds crew in the performance of their duties. The Groundsperson works with the grounds crew in the performance of their duties. Performs routine and basic grounds maintenance and improvement work, including care of lawns, landscaped areas, maintains grounds of property using hand, power tools, and/or equipment. Tasks include but are not limited to any combinations of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and/or sprinkler installation. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Community Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement, process, and activities.

Qualifications:
One (1) year of experience in heavy gardening and grounds care is required.
