*Holiday Sign-On Bonus! Receive $1,000 on your first paycheck and $1,000 after you've worked 90 days!**Key Responsibilities: *· Fulfill parts requests by technicians and ensure parts are properly charged to the unit under repair· Receive inbound shipments of parts and fuel to ensure proper quantity ordered and free of damage, stock inbound parts to proper storage location and update information systems· Conduct Cycle Counts and periodic inventories as required· Ensure each unit has required inventory of equipment to determine usability and replacement of non-functional equipment· Maintain JBHT information systems regarding parts receipts, shipments, inventories, and usage· Provide administrative support by copying and typing correspondence, maintaining records, and filing· Retain and ship parts per the Company's Warranty Retention and Core Management procedures· Maintain a clean, well-ordered work environment free of trash and hazards· Ensure compliance of safety policies· Mentor and train other shop personnel· Perform other duties as assigned· Observe all Company safety requirements*Minimum Qualifications: *· High School Diploma or GED equivalent· Up to a 12 to 18 months of direct experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience· Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.*Preferred Qualifications: *· Ability to multi-task· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team· Basic deductive reasoning skills· Experience working in a fast-paced environment· Proficient active listening skills· Proficient organizational skills· Proficient time management skills· Self-motivation· Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the job including lifting above 50 lbs.., bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling· Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE)· Ability to exercise discretion· Ability to make time-sensitive decisions.*Education: *GED (Required), High School (Required)*Work Experience: *Maintenance, Safety, Transportation/Logistics*Certifications: **Job Opening ID: * Parts Technician, Holiday Sign On Bonus (Open)*"This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this **classification. **It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job.**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
