Position Summary...

What you'll do...

• People Development: Requests feedback on own work and provides feedback to others. Receives mentoring from more experienced associates.
• Marketplace Policies/Standards: Provides input into tools and processes to improve business development and vendor management for a sub category or specific business area. Recommends new tools or changes based on team, vendor and partner needs.
• Research and Analysis: Executes analyses that inform business decisions (e.g., segmentation, ROI/customer growth, conversion and retention rates, profitability). Conducts competitive and internal benchmarking analysis and research and summarizes findings. Suggests improvements to dashboards/metrics.
• Collaboration: Works with cross-functional teams within a sub-category or small business area (e.g., Pricing, Product Development, Marketing, Category Management).
• Strategic Initiatives: Provides input into and executes activities (e.g., cross-category research, existing policy review, marketing research) in support of tactical plans to improve business performance for a sub- category or business area.
• Business Development and Partnerships: Builds lead lists (e.g., using Salesforce.com and LinkedIn) and executes cold outreach to a specific list of target partners.
• Supports more experienced associates in the management of vendor relationships by assisting in follow-ups and interactions. Supports B2B marketing efforts by reviewing research and executing campaign activities for a small business area or sub-category.
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
