Job Responsibilities

The Compensation Manager designs, analyzes, and reports on compensation programs including, but not limited to, salary plans, incentive plans, and merit increases. This role not only analyzes compensation data within the organization and evaluates job descriptions to determine classification and salary, but partners with sales and account management teams to determine budget rates and recommendations for new and existing clients. Additionally, the position works closely with key leaders to develop, administer, and monitor incentive programs designed to drive business growth.

* Leads the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs
* Monitors the effectiveness of compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives
* Consults with leaders to provide salary recommendations for internal and external candidates based on experience, benchmark data, and budget
* Develops and/or reviews job descriptions to determine appropriate pay based on market data
* Partners with sales and account management teams during RFP or budget planning cycles to identify appropriate market rates for new and existing clients
* Reviews and maintains job descriptions and salary structure
* Performs non-discrimination testing on compensation plans
* Partners with senior leaders to design and implement incentive programs
* Manages the leave of absence process in partnership with our third party administrator
* Functions as the primary point of contact for all internal and external inquiries regarding compensation
* Ensures compliance with federal, state and location compensation laws and regulations
* Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* 7+ years of experience in compensation administration

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong analytical and mathematical skills
* Ability to develop and deliver reports and presentations across various levels of management
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals across the organization
* Ability to work collaboratively on a team and foster a cooperative work environment
* Knowledge of the GSuite platform (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc…) and Apple products
* Ability to self-prioritize and manage multiple, sometimes competing, tasks simultaneously
* Experience with Workday and Payfactors

* Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
