Job description

Role Proficiency:

Acts under continuous guidance and support handling day to day transactions in a semiconductor product development lab

Outcomes:

  1. Assist in all lab audits (internal and external) to ensure process compliance
  2. Assist in lab Inventory handling to enable day-to-day transactions in the lab
  3. Perform low complexity SMD level rework
  4. Perform low complexity board setup.
  5. Assist in basic lab setup including host and network
  6. Enable lab item transfer from one location to location to ensure smooth operation of lab
  7. Assist in smooth operations of lab Inventory day-to-day transactions.
  8. Adhere to safety guideline of lab (Chemical Electrical Fire and General Safety Guidelines)
  9. Practice FAST Goals; seek and accept feedback

Measures of Outcomes:

  1. Adherence to lab process and standards (lab standards)
  2. Adherence to schedule / timelines
  3. Adhere to SLAs
  4. Reduce the re-occurrence of handling errors based on SLA
  5. Completion of all mandatory training requirements

Outputs Expected:

Compliance:

  1. Support information governance activities and audit preparations.

Configure:

  1. Set up basic lab for host and network

Document:

  1. Create documentation for one's work

Inventory Management:

  1. Enable day -to-day transactions
  2. Count materials equipment in stock and update in documents
  3. Report discrepancies between physical counts versus computer/ data records

Manage knowledge:

  1. Consume and contribute to lab related documents share point and client universities.

Status Reporting:

  1. Report status of tasks assigned
  2. Compliance to lab related reporting standards and process

Skill Examples:

  1. Perform tasks in the customer or target lab environments
  2. Ability to work in a team environment
  3. Ability to interact with different teams and customers with good written and verbal communication skills
  4. Proactively ask for and offer help

Knowledge Examples:

  • Basic understanding of hardware including desktop handheld computers Mother Boards and peripherals
