Employee Benefits Account Manager

Our client, an established Independent Agency, is expanding their Employee Benefits Division and is seeking to hire an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join their team. This person would be responsible to handle a book made up of small to large groups. This person would also have the flexibly to work in office or remotely.

Responsibilities

The account manager is responsible for day-to-day account management for clients with complex coverage needs including coverage/policy questions, claims handling, and providing high customer service satisfaction. The ideal Employee Benefits Account Manager candidate will possess a wide range of employee benefit account management skills, including but not limited to; customer service, administration and sales. The position requires experience managing both small and large groups and a strong understanding of the underwriting process including new and renewal business.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 plus years of experience in Life & Health Insurance
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred or equivalent industry experience
  • Full Knowledge of insurance products and usages
  • Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent technical/analytical skills
  • Detail oriented as must.
Salary/Benefits
  • $70,000 to $90,000 annual base with added bonuses
