Job description
Summary
To provide customers with technical marketing assistance in the design, integration, and solutions to power supply applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Coordinates technical liaison services between management, production department, sales department, and customers with newly developed techniques or practices in applying company products. Informs customers of new types, specifications, and end-uses of products.
* Confers with marketing department managers to discuss new specifications required by customers and evaluate existing/new product performance and issues.
* Provides product specifications and follows up on technical support for specific applications.
* Provides technical support to sales staff in determining applications of power supply products to customer requirements.
* Records, analyzes, and informs concerned personnel of production quality assurance and sales departments of status and disposition of customer complaints and claims. Creates detailed customer trip reports.
* Writes application notes for various product applications.
* Tests products using laboratory equipment to characterize product performance.
* Designs power supplies into system applications; prepares and presents demonstrations and applications of power supplies.
* Conducts on site and virtual customer visits, company trade shows and product marketing presentations.
* Trains customers, staff and sales teams in person and virtually on company information and products.

Education and/or Experience
Electronic/Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; a minimum 2 - 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* Ability to demonstrate group presentation skills
* Ability to operate basic test equipment.
