External Description:
The Financial Analytics Manager will be part of Teradata's Corporate Finance team and will be focused on analysis of a variety of financial positions/situations across Teradata's business. This person will analyze financial data to tell stories about what has or is happening or predict what will happen in the business in the future.
Responsibilities:
* Collecting, preparing, analyzing and presenting financial data, highlighting operating results for use in business reviews
* Providing senior management with timely, relevant and actionable financial and operational analysis and reporting
* Use data and personal observations to identify business trends and potential risks
* Reviewing historical results to determine future trends
* Identifying and implementing process improvements
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business discipline.
* 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Finance-related specialties, cross functional projects.
* Demonstrated financial/analytical skills gained through formal education or work experience.
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles
* Knowledge of Business Objects and Hyperion
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work under pressure and due dates
This position may work out of our Headquarters in San Diego, in our office in Atlanta or can be virtual in the United States.
