Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Manage the inflow of material from vendors to include: 1) Execute system receipts according to our receiving process, 2) Verify packing slip matches received product and order, and 3) Escalate discrepancies to both supplier and Sourcing Department
  • Distribute inventory according to plan (i.e., to each of the manufacturing areas as applicable and facilitate the availability for manufacturing), to include unboxing, labeling, storing, and communicating availability to interested parties
  • Update and maintain inventory records as assigned through a pre-defined physical cycle count cadence
  • Manage the execution of return to vendors as directed, which will include boxing, labeling, and arranging logistics
  • Assist in Kanban definition and management as assigned and directed
  • Maintain the warehouse in a well-organized manner, keeping the warehouse clean and adhering to safety standards to enable an efficient flow of material for the production
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers and other project users to gauge satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail
  • General systems knowledge (Inventory Management and Receipts)
  • Basic knowledge of logistics (outbound) and ability to read Bill of Ladings and Packing Slips
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A high degree of initiative, self-direction, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Fast learner and adaptable

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with 3 years of experience in inventory or training in procurement management systems and policy management (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)
