A typical contact at an OEM will be a Vice President of After-Sales or other executive overseeing service, accessories, return of lease, etc. Engagements will range from expansion business where OEMs require all dealerships to use myKaarma to business development opportunities with new OEMs. You will also be responsible for the successful execution of RFPs, contracts, statements of work and contract renewals.
To be a good fit for the OEM Account Executive - Automotive Software opportunity, you will have:
- 5-7 years of related experience, including at least 3 years in the automotive industry
- Strong technical experience, ideally with SaaS products, and an understanding of how systems integrate
- A track record of success in account management, including:
- Ability to build value-added relationships
- Demonstrated consultative skills and the ability to serve as a partner and trusted resource
- Ability to discuss technology solutions articulately with customers, arrive at a strategic solution and work through the details in partnership with the myKaarma technical team
- Willingness to be hands-on to produce the materials required to support your assigned OEM account from lead generation to close and continued maintenance
- Strong business acumen including an understanding of how OEM business operates, and a basic understanding of P&Ls and financial statements
- Exisiting network of OEM contacts in after-sales is preferred
