Job description
Take a major leadership role in defining the product vision, lifecycle, roadmap, and program strategy.
Manage & track cloud implementation programs across business, IT, and Engineering teams. Working with a cross-functional team, including Software Developers, UX/UI Designers, Researchers, and other SMEs to ensure that solutions accurately solve the business problems in Genetics and Precision Medicine domain.
Work with the product manager to define the product road map and strategy. Manage & track the program from the perspective of scope, budget, resources, and timelines.
Define product metrics & OKRs to drive cross-functional teams to achieve success as per the metrics.
Lead agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming with scrum team members.
Ensure progress on priority workstreams, advise on the right strategy, deliverables, timing, etc. Assist on various ongoing strategic initiatives across the team's core business pillars
Help develop and implement product-development practices, particularly related to lean and agile practices.
Lead planning, strategy, and cross-functional meetings.
Develop product management, program management, and engineering talent and build a thriving culture where people can grow in their careers and feel a strong sense of inclusion and belonging.
Be an amplifier across the organization engaging, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, cross-pollinating thoughts and ideas, and inspiring those around you with your product vision and a strong sense of empathy for our customers.
Partner with product and engineering manager to present product strategy, vision, and status to all levels within the company including executives, business managers, technical teams, and business partners external to the company.
Own financial operations of the engineering team. Closely work with the business partners such as finance, sourcing, HR to manage & track engineering organization budget.
Mentor and lead a team of program managers, product managers, and engineers as required.
