Overview

AlivaMab Discovery Services, LLC (ADS) is recruiting for an outstanding individual with a range of skills to support the successful discovery of fully human antibody drug candidates from the AlivaMab ™ Mouse platform. This candidate should be a highly motivated team player, able to multitask in an exciting, fast-paced environment, working to discover the next generation of breakthrough antibody drugs.

Led by personnel with combined decades of experience in therapeutic antibody drug discovery and development, AlivaMab Discovery Services continues expanding its services in therapeutic antibody drug discovery in support of the biotech and pharma communities. You will be a key contributor in a team dedicated to delivering best-in-class therapeutic antibody candidates that will improve outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will involve tissue culture and antibody screening utilizing ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and cell-based functional assays. You will be executing and delivering for projects and preparing written reports. We are looking for independent and creative researchers that demonstrate initiative, who are capable of experimental design and execution, including troubleshooting. You will work closely with other team members and leaders. You will be able to effectively present and communicate concepts and results, both orally and in writing, to the team.

Qualifications

Key Skills and Requirements:

• B.S., M.S., or PhD degree in life sciences or related discipline with three or more years' directly relevant experience
• Demonstrated technical expertise in tissue culture, multi-color flow cytometry and ELISA
• Ability to efficiently work in team-based environment on challenging drug discovery projects utilizing high throughput cell culture and screening techniques
• Experience performing cell-based assays to identify functional antibody candidates and/or experience using Octet system to determine antibody/protein kinetics and affinity is desirable
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Graphpad Prism
• Nice to have: experience in stable cell line generation, FACS sorting, experimental design of cell-based assays
