Job description

Senior Financial Analyst to perform a range of accounting, finance, contracts, and budget duties:

IMMEDIATE NEED:

• Document various processes in the Finance Department, including payroll, accounts receivable, account payable, fixed assets, cash/investment management, revenue and encumbrances.
• The goal of this task is to ensure that the company has a desk manual that can be referred to by new staff and any internal or external auditors.
• Complete company budget procedure documentation.
• Provide required financial and management reports including the delivery of a series of external and internal project financial reports to the stakeholders, lenders, funding agencies and financial institutions.
• Review CPA-audited reports and indirect cost rate schedules and request missing information from the A&E consultants needed to satisfy requirements in California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) manuals and checklists

Qualifications:

Experience:

A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible, professional finance, accounting, fixed assets, cash/investment management, revenue and encumbrances, cost rate analysis, and contracting. Experience creating procedures/processes/manuals/SOP's for finance, accounting, contracting, and budgets.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with major course work in finance, accounting, business management, public administration, or a related field. A Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
