Social Media Coordinator

Job description

Satechi is one of the leading global manufacturers bringing consumer electronic accessories both online and at storefronts. The ideal candidate will create and maintain a strong online presence for our company. They will implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts in an effort to increase brand awareness. Additionally, this individual will understand the target audience and create an appropriate strategy to reach this group.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company brand an its social channels: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Assist in the production of new content ideas as well as developing the social calendar.
• Properly execute the positing schedule of content to social channels.
• Manage customer engagement and interact with Satechi's audience on social media, by monitoring and interacting with commentators and messages with the brand's tone of voice.
• Partner with our Customer Support team to respond to customer service issues on all relevant social channels.
• Identify relevant and brand friendly influencers to collaborate with.
• Keep blog up-to-date.
• Maintain relevant information pertaining to social media and industry trends.
• Cultivate a high level of understanding and knowledge of Satechi's products.
• Perform all other job duties as deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Social media experience required.
• Work experience in consumer electronics industry preferred.
• Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail, grammar and tone of voice.
• Tenacious project management skills with the ability to work cross functionally with the communications, customer support and management teams.
• Decent knowledge of CRO and SEO.
• Independent self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft programs.
• Hootsuite knowledge is a plus.
