ASSOCIATE BROKER - SAN FRANCISCOJob Summary

Work with one of the top leasing teams in our San Francisco Office. This is a unique opportunity to work on a five-person team that will provide exposure to a high volume of complex deals and the chance to receive mentorship from a team with over 65+ years of experience.

You will develop the fundamentals of your career as a Commercial Real Estate Broker in a highly entrepreneurial environment by supporting the team of brokers. Potential business opportunities for Avison Young include leases, subleases, dispositions, and sales of commercial real estate.

Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities

* Provide analytical support for cash flow and other financial analyses. Gather relevant market data and prepare market surveys.
* Tour spaces for landlord and tenant clients, accompany and assist brokers at client meetings, strategize for upcoming pitches and create content through research and creative thought process.
* Assist clients with market research and interpreting leases.
* Perform research on potential new clients, analyze statistical data and create reports to determine market trends.
* Help build strong client relationships by delivering "best-in-class" services which includes providing relevant information to clients on timely bases.

Qualifications

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree (preference for degree in economics, business, accounting or finance)
* Internship experience (or currently working in commercial real estate industry is a plus)

Required Skills

* Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to prepare high quality presentation materials.
* Ability to model cash flow scenarios in Excel.
* Strong writing, analytical and editing skills.
* Appropriate professional training and licensing (may include California DRE salespersons license).
* Experience in researching business development opportunities.
* Ability to work hard including overtime in a dynamic environment with attention to detail.
