Overview of the Role
As a member of the Rundeck by PagerDuty BDR team, you will play a meaningful role in driving revenue for PagerDuty. You will be a representative of our Rundeck brand by being the first point of contact with potential customers, responding to inbound requests and marketing leads. You will work in partnership with an account executive on outbound prospecting for new logos and growing the Rundeck footprint within existing accounts.
This is a phenomenal opportunity for a high-energy, motivated, and organized team member. In this role, you will gain exposure to all aspects of a sales cycle and have a hand in some of the hottest opportunities we work on, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
How You Impact Our Vision
- Articulate the Rundeck business value proposition to assess buying interest from inbound leads
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest to stimulate opportunity through outbound efforts
- Conduct high level conversations with senior level executives
- Run leads and territory in Salesforce.com
- Consistently over-achieve quotas
About You
- Prior sales development experience highly preferred
- Endlessly curious - you love asking questions and learning
- Confident attitude - proven track record at achieving measurable goals
- Ability perform in a time-sensitive and high volume environment
- Experience using salesforce.com preferred
- You're a great team player - working with your Account Executive to develop a territory plan
- BA/BS Degree highly preferred
