OUR TEAM

Kinship's Growth team is composed of super-savvy marketing professionals from a variety of backgrounds. From PR and social pros, entrepreneurs, published authors, marketing gurus, award winners, skincare enthusiasts, wellness wunderkind, and so much more! Our diverse set of experiences allow us to collaborate with open minds, puppy-like curiosity, and infectious excitement for being a pivotal team in truly shaping a better world for pets and pet parents. HOW YOU'LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO

• You will support a small, but creative team in driving the Whistle and Wisdom stories across our key internal and external audiences through a variety of channels (social, email, events)
• Because social is the main hub of all conversations nowadays, you'll help the social teams for Whistle and Wisdom drive community engagement across our owned channels
• Because you're a news junkie, and particularly interested in tech, consumer and lifestyle verticals (and also purposefully inquisitive!!) your passion will help us position Kinship as the thought-leading company in pet care
  

THE PRO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Technical Skills

As Kinship people, we have three pillars that set out how we aim to be--in our everyday work, and in how we approach each other. We call these our Cultural Pillars. In all of the roles that we hire for, we look for people who are Optimistic, Purposefully Inquisitive, and Open to All. And for this role, you'll need these skills to knock it out of the dog park:

• 1-3 years' communications, social media, and community management or similar experience in-house or in an agency working on B2B and/or D2C brands
• You're a communications maven! You can crank out an email, IG post or newsletter article without even trying
• You are confident with the Google suite, Office suite, website content management, email marketing and social media networks. Bonus if you know social management software like Sprinklr and Sprout
• A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or PR is preferred
