The Director, HR Business Partner, reporting to the SVP, People & Culture, is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic human resources support related to performance management, skills assessment, employee relations, employee coaching and mentoring, and compensation planning and administration. This role partners with executives to develop and execute initiatives designed to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will contribute at both the hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing innovative culture as the organization grows.
Your impact:
- Provide HR expertise to client groups in all aspects, including but not limited to workforce planning, employee relations, rewards, employee engagement and training
- Help drive a best-in-class talent agenda, including D&I, to promote engagement and enable a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company's strategic growth
- Develop strategies to ensure P&C initiatives and programs reinforce the company's culture and values and are differentiators in the market
- Create and roll out programs and initiatives to retain current employees and attract candidates with great talent and critical skills
- Drive the annual performance management cycle, including talent review (leadership development, succession planning and skills assessment) and year-end performance review and compensation administration
- Manage employee relations issues by providing guidance to employees and managers on problem resolution, aligned with legal organizational policies and regulations
- Attend strategic planning meetings and department leadership meetings to align P&C initiatives with operational execution
- Closely partner with other P&C partners to deliver superior results to the business and execute on projects and programs
- Help foster a culture of innovation, in an environment that requires high levels of scalability, security and reliability
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- 10+ years of successful business partner leadership experience
- 7-10 years progressively responsible experience in HR leadership
- Passion for building the relationships required to be a trusted partner to business leaders and client groups to enable the execution of their business strategy and initiatives
- Core knowledge of human resources principles, concepts, and processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives exercising sound judgement, solutions orientation, and flexibility
- Must have strong analytical, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
