THE GIST:
Our client, a well-funded stealth startup, run by a Forbes 30 under 30 entrepreneur, seeks to hire an administrative assistant/ office manager for their San Francisco office. This is a unique opportunity to get into a high growth tech start up at the ground floor and learn from the best.
No two days will be alike- This role can help with culture, plan events, manage vendors, and more!
THE NITTY GRITTY:
· Responsible for day-to-day office operations running smoothly at the office, overseeing all building functions.
· Manage all office vendors and contracts; Manage the relationships and schedule maintenance with service suppliers
· Execute and support safe and successful return to office strategy, partnering with the leadership team.
· Act as a nurturer of company culture and creating a positive employee experience. Ensure that their environment is productive, fun, inclusive and stimulating. Organize and run office activities.
· Maintain all office supply inventory (food, snacks, office supplies, office equipment, furniture etc.)
· Create and manage office policies and procedures.
· Help with Event coordination - dinners, lunches, work anniversaries, birthdays, team building events, off sites, holiday parties and more
· Assist with set up + new hire on-boarding support
· Ad hoc business support and projects as needed
THE ESSENTIALS:
· Minimum of 2+ years relevant work experience ideally with a combination of office management, facilities and operations.
· A passion for building communities, making workplaces operate seamlessly, and delivering an amazing customer service experience to employees.
· You have a keen sense for organization, office aesthetic, and will commit to providing a calming and cheerful working environment.
· Proactive team player, self-starter, and leader with proven ability to multitask and prioritize. Must be willing to collaborate with others.
· You are an excellent communicator and listener with a balanced and thoughtful approach, who is adept at building trust with others while promoting inclusivity with teams.
· You are a highly accountable and organizationally minded individual who is skilled at processes and project management, and who can carry many simultaneous initiatives forward and prioritize fluidly as needs change.
· You possess and demonstrate a growth demeanor, the desire to learn and continually improve, and to help others do the same.
· Demonstrated ability to manage, lead change, and build process improvements
· Ability to work independently, and influence others to meet deadlines
