Job description
We are a mature, specialized and successful Wealth Management Advisory firm situated in the TransAmerica Building in San Francisco. We provide high-end investment planning services and seek to find an energetic, detail minded, and business oriented financial associate who enjoys working in a team environment.
What you will bring to the firm:
As Head of Client Relations and Financial Planning and , you will have a leadership role within our firm providing high level financial planning to a dedicated book of wealth management clients and finding new clients to expand the existing client base. Successful advisors are ambitious, adaptable, competitive, and seek to grow professionally and personally. Responsibilities:
Will develop new business that:
- Increase assets under management from assigned client base
- Find new revenue opportunities to service existing clients more effectively
- Connect to heirs of clients and engaging those heirs with firm
- Publicly represents the firm's strategic brand
- Engage with team/staff in actions that are consistent with firm branding, service standards and initiatives
In this role, you will participate in a role that maintains the current client base by working with and under the supervision of the senior advisor to:
- Be an integral part of the relationship team for the firm
- Focus on ongoing client relationship management including client care and delivering on promises made to client
- Directly responsible for client satisfaction with firm and retention of client accounts
- Responsible for development of technical, relational, and client skills of team members
- Maintains familiarity with industry and economic trends and applies knowledge to client service and relationships
- Maintains knowledge of and shows ability to apply compliance standards
Continue to develop self and colleagues by:

- Working collegially and productively with peers and other team members
- Committing to ongrowing growth of skill set and competencies needed to serve client, firm, and individual success
Competencies:
- A solid 8-10 year background that demonstrates high performance standards and success in business development
- Deep experience with financial planning that isn't always product based
- Ability to advise clients on all aspects of their balance sheet including investment accounts, cash management, qualified plans, real estate, credit and alternatives
- Working understanding of tax thresholds, types of taxation for different instruments and accounts, and the levers for increasing or reducing taxes
- A comprehensive understanding of financial markets and relentless drive to learn more
- Series 7, Series 66 and California Life & Health or similar. Unlicensed candidates will be considered but required to obtain the requisite licenses within 120 days of employment
- CFP, CFA, CPA, J.D. or similar certification or degree
