Job Purpose

BTIG seeks a Director to join it's Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in New York or San Francisco. BTIG's FIG group provides financing and advisory services to financial institutions. The ideal candidate will lead the coverage of the Firm's FIG team. This team offers a broad range of products including M&A transactions, debt and equity financing and other advisory services. This role will report directly to the Head of FIG Investment Banking.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the coverage and relationship management
• Deliver customized client solutions to existing client needs while also develop a marketing strategy to convert prospects to clients to grow the client base and deepen current client relationships
• Partner with the Investment Banking team to ensure proper client coverage, support and execution, while also identifying priorities in order to grow the client base
• Identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to meet client and industry-specific needs
• Drive client revenue and profitability while maximizing efficiency
• Operate within a strong risk controls and integrity
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience with providing financial solutions to Banks and Credit Unions
• 10+ years of proven client coverage success in managing relationships, executing transactions and converting prospects to clients
• Strong knowledge of Investment Banking products and services with a demonstrated record of success in delivering value added client solutions
• Exceptional risk and control judgment
• Excellent client relationship skills
• Proven corporate finance, credit, treasury services and portfolio management skills
• Responsibility and pride in managing the client
