We're looking for a talented and passionate Workplace Support Manager to join our Corporate technology team in Redwood California.


As a full time Workplace Support Manager you will be in charge of leading supporting teams, implementing changes, projects and improvements, resolving reliability issues, monitoring progress and tracking KPIs. This position plays a vital role in boosting the user experience by ensuring the smooth delivery of top-notch services that meet and exceed customer demands. This role is entirely customer-facing, involving a range of functions to facilitate the delivery of IT solutions and facility services.



You are expected to identify customer issues and needs by maintaining an excellent relationship with end-users and stakeholders, embracing both administrative and technical aspects. You will also be responsible for all new potential office expansion around the globe, so we expect someone with a high availability to travel around the US as well as internationally on occasion to support stakeholders.

responsibilities:


  • Responsible for managing user satisfaction and executing white glove support
  • Provide excellent customer experience and internal workplace services (IT and facilities).
  • Serve as the primary contact for onboarding new hires globally, managing device purchases, configuration, training, as well as post go-live support
  • Maintaining high performance levels for service-related processes, and implementing improvement activities wherever necessary
  • Taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews
  • Monitoring and managing desktop support, IT services desk, and VIP support functions to ensure optimal service
  • Collaborate with WLS technical teams to set up and/or configure services, processes, facilities and troubleshooting as per customer requirements
  • Negotiate and manage vendors/partners services and lead issue resolution with IT suppliers, IT services, facilities services and providers
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key partners, operations, and technology stakeholders
  • Continuously improve Workplace services, supporting new projects deployments, processes rollout, new office and/or office expansion
  • Keep all the building systems and technologies functional and online, preventing risks.
  • Manage all office-related services to ensure a pleasant and effective workplace, enhancing the team's productivity and socialization (if needed).

What you will need




  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • Knowledge in building systems (MEP and IT infrastructure)
  • Knowledge in electronic systems (CCTV, Access Control, Alarms, FIre Safety, etc)
  • Proven track record of Workplace support role
  • White glove support to VIP internal customer
  • Workplace (IT & Hard facilities) service management
  • Small staff procurement experience to buy IT peripherals and other accessories
  • Comfortable working independently and on teams
  • Comfortable in ambiguous work environment
  • strong organization, time management and attention to detail
  • Drive, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a "can do" attitude
