Our client, a SaaS company in San Francisco, is looking for a Manager of FP&A to join their team. They are valued at more than $3B after their latest round of funding and expect their revenue to grow to $100M+ within the next couple of years. This role will report into their Director of Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with various departments to assist in understanding key drivers and influence business decisions to improve revenue growth
  • Drive end-to-end accountability on spend decisions by working closely with internal accounting team and budget owners across the organization
  • Manage the full P&Ls for various business divisions, and determine success metrics and budgets for various teams
  • Evaluate investments across the organization to support efficient capital allocation
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, including partnerships, pricing and M&A
  • Proactively monitor and analyze trends of key operational and financial performance indicators
  • Own preparation of various presentations to the Executive
  • TeamLead FP&A activities around monthly reporting, company model actualization, variance commentary, forecasting, etc.
  • Drive and coordinate various portions of annual planning, quarterly forecasting and monthly reporting processes to deliver predictable financial results, early warning of potential gaps and timely identification and implementation of corrective actionImprove efficiency and reporting accuracy through process improvement and system implementation
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and strong academic performance
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, ideally a combination of experience in FP&A at a Technology company, investment banking/research, or VC /PE
  • A curious and highly analytical approach to problem solving
  • An ability to extract business insights from analysis
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, SQL, Tableau and Power BI
  • Pluses;
  • A strong understanding of GAAP
  • A solid understanding of the key drivers of a SaaS business
  • The ability to distill and simplify complex financial concepts for all audiences, including executives
  • A desire to build processes that scale and take initiatives to completion
  • A history of building trust and effectively collaborate cross-functionally, but can challenge when necessary
