The Role:

We are looking for an Office Manager, who will oversee the day-to-day operations of an office environment and make sure that the office runs efficiently and that employees have what they need to be successful


Responsibilities:

• Oversee the work of all office employees to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards

• Answer telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and direct them to relevant staff

• Monitor and manage office supplies and new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required

• Handle different office papers and mails

• Manage and organize maintenance companies and vendors to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order

• Report office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures

• Coordinate and help with office events such as company meetings, happy hours and team meetings


Requirements:

• At least 2 year of experience working in an office management, administrative, or support role at a venture-funded startup. Non-negotiable: please do not apply if you do not fit this criteria

• A desire to work at a fast-paced, goal driven, hard-working start-up

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Highly motivated, self-driven, solution and detail oriented

• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and office management systems and procedures is a plus

• Understanding of commonly used tools, Google suite, Slack, Amazon for business etc.

• Excellent written and spoken communication as well as interpersonal skills

• Organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask

• Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. copiers, fax machines, printers)
