Our Bay Area-based client has an immediate need for an Order Management Specialist consultant.


Role Summary:

As a key member of the Revenue Accounting team, the Order Management Analyst will be responsible for working with the sales, revenue, business applications, and other cross functional teams to accurately process B2B orders and invoices in a timely manner. This is a very interactive role with high transactional volume and both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate for this role has a high attention to detail, works well in a faced paced environment, loves working with a multitude of people, developing strong relationships with those people, and delivering excellent customer service.


Qualifications:

  • Manage the B2B order and invoice cycle processes for all North America direct and channel orders including DocuSign management, order entry in Salesforce, and invoicing in NetSuite
  • Effectively work cross-functionally with the revenue, sales operations, sales teams, and business applications teams to support and improve the Order to Cash and related processes
  • Positively engage with external customers and channel partners to support the order and invoicing processes
  • Understand, document, and influence procedures and best practices around order management and related processes including communications with both the internal sales team and external customers
  • Investigate and resolve all order related discrepancies, including root cause analysis and communication to help prevent future issues
  • Be an agent of change; identify and communicate areas for improvement and help develop, test, and implement improvements
  • Support ad-hoc projects and reporting as requested by the revenue, sales operations, or sales teams

Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years of operational experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Salesforce preferred
  • Experience in NetSuite a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent prioritization and time-management skills
  • Flexibility during quarter end and other high-volume periods
