The Department: Business Development

In Business Development we build relationships, are on the front lines of all critical customer service issues, and help manage the customer lifecycle through pivotal stages in their Gemini journey. Whether it's identifying new key institutional clients or servicing a retail customer's needs, our goal is the same: deliver for our customers no matter what.

The Role: Senior Associate, Business Development - Gemini Fund Solutions

Gemini is looking for a fund operations specialist to join the Business Development - Fund Solutions group. Ideally, the candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in operations and/or relationship management, specifically at a fund manager or other financial institution that services exchange-traded fund vehicles and successful candidates will have experience in high-touch servicing of these types of clients. This person has had good exposure to all facets of the operational life cycle of a fund - from onboarding through launch and ongoing management.

Responsibilities

  • Work with global team members to ensure all client needs are met
  • Interact with internal groups, including other business operations departments, to facilitate streamlined process
  • Manage the due diligence process for Fund Solutions' prospective and existing clients
  • Continually evaluate operational process to identify inefficiencies and develop scalable solutions leveraging product teams
  • Daily monitoring of client fund inflows and outflows
  • Participation in due diligence reviews of the Fund Solutions service offering
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communications skills and ability to work with internal counterparts as well as with a dynamic client base
  • At least three (3) years' experience in a sales or relationship management function or an operations or product management role where client interaction is required
  • Very familiar with the creation/redemption process and understands the ETF eco-system
  • Flexible mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and assist in various operational functions as needed
  • Currently working with a large-size fund manager or other traditional financial institution servicing large funds
  • Series 7 preferred
