About the Role

Spin is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A team. Responsible for supporting OPEX spend for corporate functions but not limited to reporting, forecasting, ad-hoc analyses. This position will partner with cross functional teams within the finance and accounting organizations. The ideal candidate has valuable relevant finance experience (e.g., investment banking, finance at a startup, Big 4) and is excited about scaling Finance's influence within a growing company.

Responsibilities

* Operating Expense planning including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and in-year performance management
* Partner effectively with accounting to complete month-end close process.
* Consolidated financial reporting for executive team and board updates including variance analysis and commentary
* Perform structured as well as ad-hoc analysis to deliver financial insights that aid in decision making in order to help shape the future of Spin
* Assist with the implementation of a new data system to improve reporting capabilities.
* Review purchase requisitions and contracts for approval
* Partner with various business teams on a regular cadence to deliver key insights and capture risks and opportunities

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or similar degree
* 3+ years of applicable Corporate FP&A experience in finance at a fast-growing company
* Superior Excel, Google Sheets, and financial modeling capabilities
* Experience analyzing P&L trends and details
* Demonstrate analytical skills by understanding the business problem, gathering data and assumptions, building models, performing analysis, and presenting results
* Experience with PowerPoint and Google Slides creating clear presentations to help communicate complex information to executives and to cross-functional teams
* Ownership mentality and ability to independently drive projects forward
* Comfortable operating in an unstructured and fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
* Communicates effectively with business partners and executives
* Experience with SQL, Workday Adaptive, and NetSuite is a plus
