Our Search:
We are seeking a Functional Lead / Business Analyst (BA) Senior Manager with expertise that includes implementing and optimizing HR systems, process improvement, change management and project management. This role will be responsible for tying together the functional workstreams for our ES transformation, working across ES as well as partnering closely with the technical teams. You will need to be a problem solver who is not afraid to lean in and work across multiple collaborators to tackle complex implementation needs. This person will work directly with our consulting functional lead, technical lead, as well as multiple leaders and business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead functional work for ES transformation journey , including our Workday HCM re-implementation project, focusing on strategy, process design and change as well as implementation support for the ES Next functional team
- Partner closely with technology team to deliver implementation requirements and testing for Workday
- Partner closely with business and service delivery team to prepare for transformation-driven process changes
- Review and map ES business processes where needed, helping workstream leads facilitate sophisticated solutioning and connecting dots across workstreams and technology requirements
- Lead day-to-day activities of planning, presenting and collaborating with HCM functional teams, business leadership, technology and consulting resources
- Identify and communicate findings to leadership teams
- Act as a Consultant, Coach and Mentor to a team of Business Analysts, providing daily mentorship on projects and initiatives
- Support team in eliciting business, process, and technology needs and opportunities using interviews, document analysis, process and experience workshops, surveys, gap analysis, use cases, scenarios, and other business analysis techniques
- Understand, interpret and evaluate the diverse needs and opportunities of business partners which may sometimes conflict and require facilitation/negotiation with partners to craft solutions that meet program objectives
- Ensure solutions being delivered by team promote simplification, accuracy and an increasingly higher level of efficiency for users, enabling an outstanding employee experience and contributing to our business leaders.
- Partner with change management team to implement activities with workstream teams by authoring communications, creating enablement materials, or deliver training (as needed) through the use of change management tools to drive project adoption
- Partner with PMO to enable project objectives, prioritize responsibilities, delegate tasks, implement project deliverables, identify risks, and track and measure successful completion for functional workstreams
- Curious, flexible and a dedicated problem solver. Listening and learning is key
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change and deliver against tight deadlines
- Proactive and forward thinking attitude and creative problem solving ability
- Experience facilitating and leading process / requirements building & design workshops
- Solid ability to elicit needs and partner with delivery teams to translate into pragmatic solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a passion for employee experience, data, process definition, technology enablement and continuous learning
- Ability to adapt to change and provide stable support system to team and partners
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology and/or HR related
- 5-7 years of demonstrated ability in Business Analysis / Project Management Roles, Previous people management experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Workday HCM and Salesforce Platforms (preferred but not required)
- Process Improvement training and experience
- Change Management training and experience
- Results-driven, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with contending priorities
