Snr DevOps Engineer (Cloud)

SGI is seeking a collaborative and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's innovative and inclusive team. This full-time DevOps Engineer role is based in San Francisco, CA, and offers an excellent salary and benefits.

As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will own and foster our client's delivery infrastructure and best practices so that their team can self-serve in delivering great products. Their stack uses Google Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, and Jenkins.

In your first few weeks in this DevOps Manager role, you can expect to:

● Own and build tools and services to allow the application teams and others to be self-service in delivery

● Drive cross-team communications to ensure our client ships stable and performant services

● Maintain and improve CI/CD infrastructure

● Help establish deployment best practices and push the envelope of delivery

● Improve the packaging story

To apply for this Cloud Platforms Manager role, you will need a BS in computer science or a related field and an exceptional understanding of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure). You will also require a solid foundation in Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform, and excellent Python coding skills.
