Job description

Ideal position for a Hands on lead who is looking for a path to an engineering manager role in the near term.

This position is 100% remote

We are seeking a Technical Lead for a well-funded and high growth Fintech client. Backed by high profile VC firms, our client is already valued at more than 5 Bullion, up from 4 billion 2 months ago and has received Series E funding. Our client's product is having global impact for enterprises large and small. The ideal profile for this Tech Lead role is a Senior, Staff, Lead or Principal level Software Engineer with experience mentoring engineers and taking ownership for Product Development. Eventually this role will transition into more an Engineering Manager role, but for now is very hands on coding.

The role of the Technical Lead is to help scale up their fast growing FinTech product. The ideal candidate has a proven track as a software engineer, a passion for solving complex problems at scale and strong leadership skills. In this role you will be heavily involved in systems design and hiring on and mentoring a team of software engineers. This is a high impact / visibility role with the opportunity to make big contributions to the platform.

Our client is in San Francisco, but this position can be remote or work from the office.

Key Skills/Experience required for the Technical Lead

· 7 or more years Software Engineering experience

· 1 or more years leadership experience mentoring software engineers

· Passion for helping develop talent and solving complex problems at large scale

· Strong system design and architecture experience

· Cloud experience (AWS or Google or Azure)

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
