Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Manager, FP&A to partner with top executives in our LinkedIn Sales Solutions (LSS) North America sales leaders who is adept at advising and influencing key leaders on such matter as business growth, investment tradeoffs, resource management, organizational structure and strategic direction.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial forecasting and P&L for LSS North America (NAMER) teams. You will be the key strategic financial advisor partnering with sales leadership and their directs. You will play a central role in decisions affecting our go to market strategy as we accelerate through an unprecedented phase of company growth and success at scale. Your finance, strategy and accounting expertise will enable you to identify and mitigate issues before they arise in order to safeguard the integrity of financial models. You will own the development and operational excellence of forecast models as well as partner with Business Ops, Sales Ops and HR to ensure financial and operational rigor of the business. As a pivotal partner to the NAMER teams, the clarity, energy and results you deliver will be visible across the LSS leadership team. This role reports to Sr Director of LinkedIn Sales Solutions, FP&A and is based in our San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Chicago, New York offices or remote.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal FP&A teams and cross-functional partners to lead and support strategic analyses to address the evolving business dynamics
- Provide management with insights into drivers of revenue, expense, risks and opportunities
- Audit and review of complex financial models to ensure they are both accurate and updated to reflect changing business needs, including their development, improvement and maintenance
- Develop and implement tools, systems, and processes to support the successful completion of timely and accurate close-periods and forecasts
- Develop and validate quarterly business reviews for the NAMER (North American) region
- Partner closely with leadership, cross functional leads, and key finance leaders across the company to represent NAMER
- Take a leadership role in the coordination of the various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly/monthly forecasts, weekly outlooks)
- Maintain a consistent meeting cadence between key leaders and cross functional business partners
- Deliver a leadership voice and point of view to LSS leadership team on strategic financial matters
- Manage the variance analysis of expenses, headcount, commissions, by clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the forecast models to reflect adjustments
- This role is scoped to grow into a people manager role
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of financial analysis or related experience
- BA/BS degree in finance, accounting or related field, or related experience
- Analytical background working directly in an FP&A, Strategic Finance, Business Operations or related environment modeling bookings, revenue and expenses
- Proven track record and passion for hiring, managing and developing team and talent
- Leader with strong executive presence, interpersonal skills, influence capability and social intelligence
- Ability to demonstrate thought-leadership, teamwork, anticipate business needs and manage relationships with senior stakeholders
- Ability to think critically and to question the output of financial models or investment cases and consider options for improvement or provide thoughtful alternatives
- Proactive, results oriented, with a can-do attitude and strict attention to detail in meeting critical deadlines
- Diligent, highly accurate with extreme attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Direct experience working with Enterprise and/or Consumer subscriptions-based revenue
- An understanding of accounting theory and practice (e.g., basic revenue recognition rules and proper expense timing)
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and competency in Word and PowerPoint
- Strong systems skills with preference toward Hyperion (Essbase), Oracle Financials, Salesforce CRM, Dynamics CRM
- MBA degree

- 8-5-201(2): (Colorado only) The minimum pay for this role is $122,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
