An ideal candidate will have direct experience in working on consumables for bioprocessing (e.g., gas permeable bags, tubing, plastics) and some familiarity with current hardware technologies and workflows serving the immune cell therapy market (e.g., Miltenyi, Lonza, Cytiva). In this role, you will engage in all facets of product development including concepting, documentation, design, prototyping and transfer to manufacturing. The candidate must have the drive to solve complex technical problems, work in a fast-paced environment, across multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Masters or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field with emphasis on CAD design and prototyping
- 5+ years of experience working in a company that designs and/or manufactures biotech consumables. Preference for biotech, bio-chemistry, or chemical engineering equipment
- Direct experience with developing consumables for the biotech space
- Candidates with direct domain experience in immune cell therapy processing and manufacturing workflows will be given priority
- Highly motivated self-starter who can prioritize and take ownership of tasks
- Excited to be "hands-on" in solving product problems
- Must be comfortable in a rapidly growing and evolving start-up environment
- Please note if you are legally authorized to work in the United States in your application
