Job Description
We are looking for a Strategic Finance Manager who will be a key strategic business partner for the Online Subscription Businesses. As a member of this team, you will not only partner with cross functional teams, but you will play a central role in decisions affecting these businesses. You will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, and communicating relevant business KPIs, proactively driving analyses to better inform our forecast models, expanding our various bottoms up models to reflect our business strategies, and providing strategic analyses and recommendations to our key stakeholders including executives. You will be directly involved in the coordination of the various product strategy plans and planning cycles (annual planning and weekly and quarterly forecasts). This is a manager role reporting to the FP&A Director of Online Consumer Products.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a key business partner to product leads and other stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations
- Define and drive data intense analyses aimed at developing a deep and holistic understanding of business performance, growth drivers, and trending. Present these analyses and key takeaways to executives
- Define, maintain, understand, forecast, and communicate key KPIs for those businesses
- Drive complex financial modeling development, enhancement and maintenance
- Coordinate various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks) and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly management reviews
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance issues
- Manage and build financial/operational dashboards to monitor daily and weekly performance
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years financial analysis experience
- Experience modeling bookings, revenue, costs and expenses
- BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, or related experience
- Experience with SQL and excel
- Analytical background working directly in an FP&A, investment banking or consulting environment; experience with modeling, analyzing and monitoring revenue and its key drivers
- Ability to demonstrate thought leadership and manage relationships with senior executives
- Adaptable and able to react quickly to changing business needs
- Ability to question the output of a financial model and consider options for improvement
- Proven ability to coordinate and execute projects independently, effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and autonomously perform within tight deadlines
- Proactive, results oriented, with a can-do attitude
Location: Preference for Sunnyvale, CA or San Francisco, CA. Open to other LinkedIn US office locations (Chicago, Detroit, New York, Omaha, Washington DC, Carpinteria), or fully remote depending on the location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing.

- 8-5-201(2): (Colorado only) The minimum pay for this role is $100,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
