Position Summary

The HR Operations Specialist is a key member to build a fast-growing start-up by establishing and managing global policies and procedures and will be involved in a number of global processes including human resources, operations/supply chain, and procurement.

Responsibilities

Human Resources 50%, US site day to day operation 50%

• Process Monthly Payrolls for multiple states
• Oversight and preparation of onboarding, payroll and employee files for your assigned region
• Communicating with R&D leadership and/or Hiring managers on a daily basis regarding new hires, terminations, pay changes, offer letters and any other general questions as they arise
• Help establishing hiring and operational, financial reporting process; implementing improvements where needed
• Generating monthly and quarterly reports for accounting/finance/HR departments and other ad hoc reports as needed
• Responsible for procurement, financial process and report, HR business partner, US site day to day operation and other such other duties assigned to you by your supervisor or the Company

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Chinese and English (read, speak, write)
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, administration or operation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (basic formulas and pivot tables)
• Excellent time management skills
• Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to adhere to tight deadlines and anticipate issues that may impact the payroll process
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax related laws and regulations
• Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality
• Experience with ADP Payroll and accounting is a plus, but not required
