The Corporate Strategy team works closely with NetApp's top executives and our two business units (Hybrid Cloud and Public Cloud Services) to ensure that the company stays on its profitable growth trajectory. The team is playing an active role in some of NetApp's boldest and most strategic decisions.

As a Manager, Corporate Strategy, you will join a highly entrepreneurial team, including alumni from top management consulting firms and professionals in Enterprise IT. We exclusively focus on NetApp's long-range strategy, operational improvement, and market intelligence. You will be responsible for leading and driving multiple corporate strategy projects, managing the relationship with several top executives across the company, and will gradually specialize in one of NetApp's business units. This position provides unparalleled senior executive exposure and is often the avenue to unique operational roles within NetApp. Examples of challenging yet intriguing projects include identifying and sizing new markets for NetApp, benchmarking the business unit / company performance against the market and competitors, and understanding key technological trends and their implications on NetApp.

Responsibilities include:

* Tackling hard questions with rigor and independence, owning the project from problem definition to final recommendation
* Presenting recommendations and leading discussions with all levels of management
* Leading multiple projects and/or workstreams independently
* Structuring of complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple senior stakeholders to deliver high business impact on high priority topics
* Leading, coaching and developing team members to achieve their own development goals
* Providing thought leadership and ad-hoc strategic advice to leaders across the company

Job Requirements

* Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skillsProven ability to structure complex problems, develop clear hypotheses, and drive towards actionable recommendations.

* Strong people development and leadership skills; able to manage extended and/or virtual teams

Education & Experience

* Preferred familiarity with enterprise IT industry
* 8+ years total work experience with 3-4 years post MBA working at a top management consulting firm or similar
* Familiarity with storage market, products, and technologies is a plus
* Demonstrated project management experience: ability to develop and lead projects end-to-end
* Able to manage multiple extended and/or virtual teams
