Kelly Services is currently seeking a Project Manager for a Direct Hire role in Fremont.

Job Title: Project Manager - New Product Introduction

Pay: $100 - 120k depending on experience

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Marketing LPS division. In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing new product (instruments, software, and reagents) introduction projects that are critical to innovation strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-end NPI projects from concept to commercialization and achieve on-time, on-scope, and on-budget targets
• Collaborate with core teams to develop project plans encompassing scope, schedule, resources, and budget
• Clearly communicate objectives and deliverables to team members, steering committees, and key stakeholders; escalate obstacles and issues as needed

• Identify and manage critical paths, contingencies, dependences
• Manage project risks, issues, and effectively execute countermeasures throughout life cycle
• Maintain overall project documentation
• Present and report project status, progress, performance to KPIs
• Promote, adhere, and train organization on project management and Stage Gate best practices

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree biology, biochemistry, engineering, computer science or other related scientific disciplines
• Demonstrated minimum 3+ years' work experience managing and leading new product introduction projects with cross functional teams
• Solid understanding and application of project management methodologies and tools
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), presentation and influencing skills
• Exceptional problem solving, team building skills
• Able to work independently without much supervision
• Comfortable working under deadline pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Projects or other scheduling software, MS Office, Risk Management toolset (e.g. FMEA)
• Familiarity with Stage Gate, agile and waterfall project management methodologies
• Willingness to travel internationally (~10%)
