**QC Associate**

**Cell Therapy, San Jose, CA**

**Quality Control Opportunities in San Jose, CA. These are Direct Hire opportunities with a growing and innovative Biotech company. Help contribute to the amazing achievements in research and development of products that help treat serious diseases!**

**Multiple Shift Options:**

Day: Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Swing: Sunday - Wednesday 11:00am - 9:30pm

Swing: Wednesday - Saturday 11:30am - 10:00pm

**Responsibilities:**

+ Support the execution of Quality Control Method Development and GMP release testing.

+ Responsible for the accuracy and validity of test results, assisting and developing methods and procedures within Quality Control.

+ The unique duties of this position will allow you facilitate and coordinate tasks such as setting schedules to ensure timely completion of a variety of experiments.

+ Perform assay and form review.

+ Participate in cross-functional training.

+ Revise test methods, SOPs, raw material specification, and/or sample plans as appropriate.

+ Identify and facilitate continuous improvements.

+ Participate in technical transfer and validation protocols for QC assays.

+ Maintain instrumentation and equipment preventative maintenance and supporting documentation in a cGMP compliant manner.

+ Assist in the implementation of new assay methodologies and the associated instrumentation.

+ Identify and support initiation and completion of Deviations, CAPAs and Laboratory Investigations.

**Requirements:**

+ B.S. degree in the life sciences from a four year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience, 2 years experience and/or training in cGMP environment preferred.

+ Must have hands on experience in flow cytometry and working in biopharmaceutical Quality Control.
