That's why we are looking for a senior recruiter who will play a vital role in the company's growth. In this role, you will be a critical part of Roku's ongoing evolution as we continue to pioneer the streaming industry. We are looking for someone who loves being a part of a high-growth company and takes the responsibility of recruiting for our specialized teams. Because of our culture, we are looking for someone who is data-driven, with a track record of innovative and effective recruiting and hiring execution resulting in clear, measurable business impact.
What you'll be doing
- Act as a trusted advisor to the General Counsel, VPs, Legal Directors, and other staffing and HR team members to provide comprehensive guidance for legal talent acquisition
- Thoroughly evaluate candidates, prepare professional write-ups, and present candidates in an accurate and detailed manner to the appropriate leaders in legal
- Proactively recruit for all levels of in-house legal roles across advertising, IP, privacy, HR/Employment, and other areas of legal specialization
- Analyze research and understand the requirements to identify qualified talent. Help hiring managers craft compelling job descriptions.
- Search for candidates on portals, search engines, using active and passive techniques like cold calling and social media tools to identify candidates
- Cultivate and manage an excellent candidate experience by working with sourcing and coordination teams to ensure timely scheduling and consistent communication between candidates and hiring managers
- Identify areas for improvement with the organization and staffing, partner with those necessary to make the change
- Strive for enthusiastically satisfied clients on every engagement
We're excited if you have
- Previous experience working as a specialized legal recruiter within a staffing agency or directly supporting the legal function of an organization
- Previous experience working as a recruiter in an international law firm focusing on roles up-to and inclusive of senior counsel/partner levels
- Extensive experience in sourcing and identifying candidates through social media and other non-traditional methods (e.g., Boolean, Facebook, LinkedIn, indeed, etc.)
- Sound business judgment and common sense to approach obstacles and solve problems during candidate searches
- Experience balancing the demands of the hiring teams with the defined constraints of the candidate search process
- 5+ years of Legal recruiting experience with extensive experience recruiting paralegals, attorneys, corporate counsel of all levels, and related roles
- Ability and willingness to recruit for other positions as requested
