Associate Director, HIV Franchise Marketing
Location: Foster City, CA

The Associate Director HIV Franchise Marketing will:
- Support the development and execution of the HIV Franchise Marketing strategic plan in support of Gilead HIV commitment and leadership efforts while also being aware of the HIV Tx and Prevention strategic plans
- Foster Gilead's HIV narrative to demonstrate the many examples of how Gilead leads the way in HIV, through the collection, development and distribution of content- focused on community and partnership engagement
- Drives the development and implementation of community engagement strategies and tactics with focus on aligning and amplifying community liaison team engagement across key regions of priority and unmet need
- Amplifies key community partnerships to facilitate, develop and distribute content and to collect and share their best practices
- Orchestrate key HIV conference presence and engagement in the US
- Cultivate relationships, manages and provides direction and leadership across key agency partners to deliver on strategic and tactical initiatives
- Collaborate with HIV Treatment and Prevention teams to ensure and coordinated efforts for the success of the full HIV Business Unit as called upon
- Partner with cross functionally throughout the organization to identify synergies to amplify our total efforts, solve key business problems and optimize our total impact, with focus to our community and advocacy engagements
- Manage and support promotional budget for assigned efforts
- Develop and deliver presentations to a range of internal stakeholders and external audiences
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies
Specific Education and Experience Requirements:
- PhD with minimum 2 year of experience OR Master's Degree with 8 years minimum experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 10 years minimum experience
- 10 years of marketing or communications experience within pharma/ biotech
- 3 + years of brand development and marketing preferred
- MBA in marketing or related fields preferred
- Proven track record of marketing fundamentals, including brand plan development and execution, strategy and sales and commercial programs
- HIV Therapeutic Area knowledge preferred, but not required
