Global Strategic Marketing Graduate Intern

As a Gilead Intern, you will contribute to high-impact meaningful projects that will not only further advance our company's mission but will allow you to gain real world experience at one of the most innovative organizations in the world. You will also have opportunities to participate in special events including professional development and leadership presentations, social/network building activities and local community volunteer programs.

Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Developing and implementing the marketing strategy for Gilead's franchise-based product portfolios
• Maintaining professional relationships with key targeted organizations
• Supporting the GSM team's efforts to support tactical implementation delivery
• Translating market research findings into actionable insights and tactical plans
• Showcasing your work with a final poster board presentation (near the conclusion of your internship)

Required Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Master's program at an accredited US based university or college
• ≥4 years of prior consulting, product management and/or marketing experience in biotech/pharma (preferred)
• Must possess excellent strategic thinking skills with ability to formulate, develop and execute strategy
• Excellent communication skills, be a highly competent presenter, able to gain credibility, engender trust and influence all levels, have strong partnering skills, a bias for action and delivering tangible results
• Must have demonstrated excellence in project management, and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities
• Experience investigating fresh clinical data and creating assessments with quick turnaround times
• Education and training in Biological Sciences is a plus
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination* prior to start of internship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Ability to identify issues, seek solutions, and work both independently and collaboratively
• A demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity in the workplace
• Efficient, organized, and able to handle short timelines in a fast-paced environment
